What does the Mooncup offer me?
The practical alternative to tampons and bandages is not only gentle on your intimate flora, but also on your wallet and the environment. It is made of soft, medical silicone so that it is also suitable for sensitive people. In fact, the Ladycup is so comfortable to wear that you won't feel it all day long. It also does not dry out the vagina and leaves no harmful fibres or other substances behind. The Mooncup menstrual cup can absorb three times more fluid than a normal tampon and can therefore be worn for up to 8 hours. So you can enjoy reliable protection even on days with heavy bleeding. Since a menstrual cup lasts for several long years, you can not only save a lot of costs, but also prevent a lot of waste. Win-Win for everyone!
Which menstrual cup size suits me?
- Size Small (B): Suitable for women under 30 who have not yet had a vaginal birth and for women who have had a caesarean section.
- Size Large (A): Suitable for women aged 30 and over and women under 30 who have already had a vaginal birth.
Menstrual cup application - What do I need to know?
Fold the Mooncup to insert it effortlessly. You can squeeze it flat and fold it in the middle. Hold it tight and insert it slowly and carefully. The best way to do this is to get into a comfortable position by squatting down or by putting one leg up. As soon as you no longer feel or see the soft menstrual cup, it is correctly inserted. The Ladycup should be worn for a maximum of 8 hours before you can remove it. Squeeze it slightly to release the vacuum. During your menstruation it is enough to rinse or wipe the cup and then reinsert it. After your menstruation you should boil it with hot water.
